Tanvier Peart is the Director of Policy at Common Justice. A Baltimore native, she has a heart for service and a dedication to advancing equitable policies to dismantle unjust systems. Before joining Common Justice, Tanvier served as the Director of Policy Advancement at the Partnership for the Public Good, a Buffalo-based community think tank that provides research and advocacy support across issue areas on the state and local levels. She worked alongside communities, advocates, and legislators to address the impact of the pandemic on preexisting crises—and its effects on divested and historically excluded communities—to create short- and long-term strategies to counter structural inequalities throughout the region and state. 

A graduate of the University of Baltimore and chosen recipient of the College of Public Affairs' 2021 Dean's Advisory Council Award for Academic Excellence, Tanvier has a Master's in Public Administration focusing on public policy.
