Peju Oyeyemi is the Assistant Director for Trauma Support. Prior to joining Common Justice, Peju held roles where she provided short-term counseling, case management, and crisis intervention support to survivors of crime and violence. Peju also works in private practice as a psychotherapist providing mental health and emotional support to individuals and families with a range of mental health needs. Throughout her career, Peju has worked with diverse populations domestically and abroad, including children and families, and immigrants and refugees.

Peju holds a B.A. from SUNY College at Plattsburgh and an M.S.W. from the Boston College School of Social Work. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New York.
