Alice Hamblett
Senior Policy Manager
Alice Hamblett is a Senior Policy Manager at Common Justice.
Prior to joining Common Justice, Alice served as Director of Court Advocacy at the Center for Community Alternatives, where she advocated for youth and adults with substance use disorders as they navigated the criminal legal system.
Alice holds a B.A. in Anthropology and a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Health Justice from Brown University. During her time in graduate school, Alice was a research assistant for the COVID Prison Project and for the Center for Health and Justice Transformation. She has co-authored several publications on mitigating the spread of COVID-19 in jails, prisons, and detention centers.
Alice currently sits on the advisory board of the Formerly Incarcerated Union of Rhode Island.
