Abigail Rose

Major Gifts Officer

Abigail Rose is our Major Gifts Officer. With nearly ten years of nonprofit development experience, Abigail utilizes ethical storytelling and thoughtful relationship-building strategies to support Common Justice’s growth in the restorative justice space. Prior to joining Common Justice, Abigail served as the Major Gifts Officer and Director of Communications for Council of Peoples Organization, raising impactful funding and developing meaningful relationships to support the immigrant community of Brooklyn’s Little Pakistan. The former CU School of Social Work Policy Caucus Chair and Congressional Research Institute for Social Work Policy student representative, they founded Social Work Votes, which continues to engage and educate social workers around the country on voter access and registration. Before shifting to development, Abigail worked extensively in child behavioral health and youth diversion services in Arkansas. They continue to do so as a Young Professional Board member for Day One while also volunteering as the marketing coordinator for The Latino Leadership Institute. Abigail holds a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Arkansas.
