Hyunhee is the Director of Development at Common Justice and leads the team responsible for fundraising and resource development. Prior to joining Common Justice, they served as Program Associate at the Just Beginnings Collaborative and the Ms. Foundation for Women, supporting funder engagement, grantmaking, and capacity building on the issue of child sexual abuse. Hyunhee has served as a member of the Young Women's Advisory Council in New York City and sat on the Anti-Violence and Criminal Justice Working Group. They also served as a member of the Advisory Board for the HEAL Project, the Planning Committee for Third Wave Fund’s Gender Bash, and the Fundraising Committee for CAAAV’s Karaoke Battle. They facilitate workshops at API&, a queer API group focused on healing and community building. They are also on the Board of Mirror Memoirs, a storytelling and organizing project centering the narratives, healing, and leadership of LGBTQ survivors of color in the movement to end child sexual abuse. In their spare time, they like to forage, power lift, meditate, and shoot archery.
